"I examine the raw, beautifully ugly truth."

Who is MUUD?
The Swiss artist with Brazilian roots began her career as a dancer in her teens and found a home in urban dance. Inspired by her stay in Paris in 2016, MUUD began to explore Hip-Hop Freestyle in greater depth, which led her to participate in various battles and helped her make a name for herself in the local scene. As a crew leader and organiser, she gained her first experience with her association ‘Bringitback Company’, from which ‘Duo Siams’ developed, who won some gold medals nationally and silver at the Paris 'Quality Fine Street'.
She completed her preparatory studies at the Zurich University of the Arts, followed by a fitness and yoga teacher training that broaden her knowledge as physical artist and movement teacher. In summer 2024, she had the opportunity to experience her first residency as a choreographer at Lezoo in Geneva, experimenting with the possibilities of interaction between movement, sound and light which led to a performance in within the light installation. The experience made it clear to her that the path was leading her towards bigger productions on set and on stage.
To ensure a solid professional base in the performing arts, she decided to follow a formation in physical theatre after Jacques Lecoq in Barcelona. Currently she is working on her first stage play 'Curated Self', which fuses the aesthetics of urban dance with light and shadow plays. She's aspired to fuse her expressiveness as a dancer with the means of physical theatre, creating worlds that are independent, visually strong and raw and starts to make her first experiences as art director for music videos and live performances.
